Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC, for a 13-week contract as a Registered Nurse. In this role, you will work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., providing specialized post-surgical care to patients immediately after anesthesia. Your responsibilities include managing airways, pain levels, vital signs, and other post-operative needs, all while maintaining a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 in a highly skilled 8-bay environment. This fast-paced setting requires peds experience in the OR and a minimum of one year of PACU experience at a main hospital. You will be on call for nights, weekends, and holidays, with the expectation to float to similar acuity levels if needed. Candidates will undergo review and interviews with the management team, and it’s important to include RTO details in your submittal to ensure consideration at the time of an offer.
