Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Short Term Acute Care facility in New Haven, Connecticut, where you'll provide specialized care as a Registered Nurse with ventilator experience. This overflow vents role requires handling patients with pulmonary ventilation and vent weaning, often involving up to five non-vent patients. You'll work predominantly night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 12-hour schedule for a 13-week contract, with an average of 36 hours per week. The environment is premium, requiring at least two years of experience, BLS certification, and the ability to float within the scope between units as needed. Clinical excellence combined with pulmonary expertise will be key in this unique assignment, providing a chance to hone critical skills in a renowned Level I Trauma Center setting.
