Job Description:

Seeking a PICU Registered Nurse with EPIC system proficiency and ECMO pump experience to join a specialized pediatric and adult ECMO program. This role primarily involves caring for stable pediatric ECMO patients, including those with congenital heart disease, diaphragmatic hernias, and respiratory failure, focusing on those already stabilized on ECMO. The position offers day and night shifts on a 12-hour rotating schedule, providing a variety of clinical challenges within a large-volume unit. Comfort with high patient acuity and the ability to adapt to patient conditions quickly are essential. Previous experience in an urban or academic medical center with ECMO patients is preferred, and certifications such as BLS and RRT are required.
