Job Description:

Join Presque Isle’s Emergency Department for a 13-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse specializing in ER. This role offers a unique chance to handle a variety of cases, from neonatal emergencies to geriatric trauma, across a busy 11-bed unit with dedicated trauma and behavioral health spaces. Expect to manage patient acuity with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:4, perform procedures like IV starts, EKGs, and nebulizer treatments, and use your charge experience to support a cohesive team. This assignment is ideal for nurses with a minimum of 2 years of ER experience who are comfortable working 12-hour night shifts, with no on-call responsibilities. You’ll be immersed in a friendly community hospital that values professionalism and teamwork, with a two-day orientation and one-on-one preceptor time to help you settle in quickly.
