Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in the bustling Emergency Department of Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER in Wichita, Kansas. Working night shifts from 7P to 7A, you'll be part of a team responsible for providing critical care in a 14-bed unit with a staff of 48. Your focus will be on performing procedures such as central line insertions, chest tube placements, thoracic lavages, and intubations, all while supporting a patient ratio of approximately 1:3-4. The role requires a minimum of one year of recent acute care hospital experience and current certifications like BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH. Strong communication skills and a caring, self-motivated attitude will help you thrive in this fast-paced environment. Note: Professional attire includes maroon/wine/burgundy scrubs, and unit policies support a patient-centered approach.
