Job Description:

Join this 26-week travel healthcare assignment as a float Registered Nurse specializing in medical-surgical, telemetry, and stepdown units. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, with the opportunity to experience a range of hospital settings—including neuro, trauma, cardiac, and oncology units—across the Nebraska Medical Center campus and nearby Bellevue Medical Center. Your role involves providing direct patient oversight, managing drips, and ensuring accurate documentation using EPIC charting. Expect to float frequently within scope to meet staffing needs, working alongside care techs and transport teams. This assignment is ideal for experienced RNs with a strong background in large, urban hospitals who are comfortable adapting to different units and settings. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent experience and hold ACLS/BLS credentials. Be prepared for holiday work—two of the three major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's—plus weekend shifts. Uniforms are Steele gray scrubs with Nebraska Medicine logos, and parking options are available. Healthcare professionals with pending licenses are welcome, though candidates without current licensure will be scheduled six weeks out. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative unit is essential, offering a unique opportunity to expand your skills across multiple specialties within a top-rated facility.
