Job Description:

This 13-week contract opportunities for registered nurses specialized in Labor & Delivery at a busy Level 1 trauma and Level 3 perinatal center in Peoria, Illinois. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing high-level care for pregnant patients, including high-risk cases, cesarean deliveries, and postpartum recovery. Your skills in advanced fetal monitoring, magnesium and insulin drips, and OR circulation for cesarean sections will be key in this role. The unit offers a vibrant environment with a mix of antepartum, postpartum, and triage beds, along with in-house obstetric hospitalists and neonatologists. Expect to be hands-on in a fast-paced setting, contributing to patient stabilization, delivery, and recovery processes, all while ensuring safety and comfort for moms and babies alike.
