Job Description:

Join Nebraska Medicine as an Acute Care Float Registered Nurse covering a variety of units at Nebraska Medical Center or Bellevue Medical Center in Omaha. This 20-week contract features 12-hour night shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. You will float across multiple units such as Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, or Oncology, and experience working in a large, busy hospital environment. The role involves managing complex patient needs, administering drips on all floors, and using EPIC charting. Prior experience in a large urban hospital with at least 2 years of RN clinical practice is required. The assignment offers an engaging opportunity to adapt to different units within a renowned research and teaching hospital, while enjoying the unique challenge of holiday coverage, including two major holidays. Travelers must be prepared to work in a fast-paced setting, contribute to patient safety, and collaborate with a diverse care team. A well-rounded experience in acute hospital care is essential to thrive in this position.
