Job Description:

This emergency department contract offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment blending adult and pediatric trauma care. You will be responsible for managing a variety of cases ranging from STEMI and strokes to sprains and sutures, often handling high-acuity patients without a dedicated pediatric zone—meaning you'll see patients of all ages in one mixed setting. The role requires proficiency in administering routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation, with the flexibility to work both 3p-3a and 7p-7a shifts, often with a 12-hour day schedule. Expect to adapt as staffing stretches from 4:1 to 5:1 ratios during peak times, all while providing vital support to the ER team. An engaging and demanding environment where your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes.
