Job Description:

This telemetered medical-surgical and telemetry nursing assignment in West Burlington, IA offers an engaging opportunity for experienced nurses who thrive on patient assessment and interdisciplinary collaboration. During this 13-week contract, you'll spend your nights delivering high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, utilizing your skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The role requires self-study of telemetry strips upon acceptance, with a test-out during the first week, making it uniquely challenging and rewarding. You'll be working on a 12-hour night shift, with an estimated 36 hours per week, and a possibility of overtime. Evidence of recent Epic EMR experience in a similar unit is essential, and ACLS certification is required. The assignment includes occasional opportunities to float to nearby campuses, adding variety to your week. Strong communication with your team and a proactive attitude will ensure success in this critical care-focused role.
