Job Description:

This PICU Registered Nurse role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a pediatric intensive care setting, providing specialized care to critically ill children. During this 14-week contract, you'll be scheduled for a mix of weekend shifts—specifically 5 out of every 6 weekends—along with rotations to NICU and Peds units as needed. You'll manage patients with a range of diagnoses, including respiratory distress, failure, DKA, seizures, and pain management, utilizing procedures like moderate sedation, arterial lines, and central lines. The night shifts run 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, allowing for a predictable but dynamic work routine that keeps you actively involved in high-acuity patient care.
