Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract is ideal for experienced nurses seeking a rewarding opportunity at a bustling hospital in Houston, Texas. You'll work 12-hour days on a supportive, collaborative unit that handles a variety of surgical and general cases, including neuro, ortho, and thoracic procedures. The role emphasizes efficient patient management with a patient ratio of 4:1 on med/surg, and you'll be involved in tasks like post-operative care, chest tube management, lumbar punctures, and seizure monitoring. Expect a lively team environment where everyone pitches in, and certifying with BLS and PALS is required. ACLS is preferred but not mandatory.
