Job Description:

Join the emergency department team at a community hospital in Artesia, NM, for a 13-week travel assignment that offers a challenging and rewarding experience. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts, providing critical support for patients with a wide range of conditions—from minor injuries to complex traumas such as STEMIs and strokes. This role requires a seasoned ER professional comfortable with mixing and titrating critical drips like Epi, Amio, and Insulin, and working independently in a fast-paced setting. The hospital itself is small but mighty, currently working towards Level IV trauma designation, with several trauma bays and advanced imaging equipment available 24/7. You'll also handle duties such as managing respiratory equipment, interpreting tele and EKGs, and assisting with various clinical tasks—making this a well-rounded, engaging assignment for experienced ER nurses.
