Job Description:

This Pediatric PACU Registered Nurse travel assignment offers a chance to work in a vibrant setting that includes several short-term acute care hospitals across the Portland area. Your primary focus will be providing post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients, ensuring their smooth recovery from surgery. The role involves floating between units based on your skill set, with a 12-hour day shift (07:00 - 19:00), and a commitment of 36 hours per week over 13 weeks. Pediatric PACU experience and PALS certification are required, and a vehicle is necessary to navigate between multiple facilities including Milwaukie, Newberg, Hood River, and others. The environment allows for a professional yet dynamic experience, with charting via Epic and no parking fees at the facilities.
