Job Description:

This travel RN position places you on the 36-bed medical/surgical unit of Deaconess IL Medical Center in Marion, IL. You'll work 12-hour day shifts from 7 am to 7:30 pm, providing independent care for adult patients with a focus on med/surg and orthopedic cases. The assignment involves float coverage to the ED and ICU to assist with medical holds, requiring flexibility and resilience. Expect to handle patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 with CNA support, demonstrating your ability to organize and adapt. This role offers a hands-on experience with EPIC charting and a commitment of 36 hours weekly over 13 weeks, with guaranteed hours. No local candidates are considered due to the 40-mile rule, making this a unique opportunity for travelers seeking an impactful and reliable assignment.
