Job Description:

This contract position offers a unique opportunity for experienced Telemetry nurses to work in an emergency department setting with a focus on cardiac telemetry. The role involves caring for patients awaiting transfer or admission, primarily managing cardiac drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone, and interpreting EKG strips. The shift is 12 hours overnight, providing a chance to experience a busy ED environment with a blend of tele and medical patients. Expect to work closely with ED staff, support patient flow, and perform vitals, IV starts, and medication administration as needed. This assignment is ideal for nurses with at least 2 years of cardiac telemetry experience who are comfortable managing complex cardiac cases and working in a fast-paced emergency setting.
