Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers a unique opportunity to work in the fast-paced environment of an emergency department, providing critical care to patients in Iowa. As an ER RN, you'll be responsible for assessing patient needs, triaging rapidly, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient care. Prepare for a self-directed challenge, as you'll need to master telemetry strips through self-study and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during orientation before beginning your duties. The role is perfect for an adaptable, quick-thinking nurse who thrives in unpredictable situations and enjoys the adrenaline of emergency care. While the position does not involve a regular call rotation, being ready to respond within an hour when called upon during low census times is essential. Every other holiday shift is part of the schedule, adding an element of seasonal variation to your work calendar.
