Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a fast-paced cardiovascular observation unit, handling a diverse mix of low-acuity critical care patients. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, offering the chance to experience the quieter nighttime hospital atmosphere while managing a variety of cardiovascular conditions. You will monitor patients with arterial lines, PA catheters, and LVADs, focusing on assessment, rhythm interpretation, and critical thinking. Expect a high patient turnover with opportunities to develop specialized skills in cardiovascular care, critical thinking, and organizational abilities. This assignment provides a unique insight into a comprehensive heart/vascular service line setting, with a focus on observation care without ventilators or advanced support devices.
