Job Description:

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Step-down unit as a step-down Registered Nurse, providing essential care at their main campus hospital. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a specialized environment, with potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED, ensuring a varied and engaging experience. You will implement patient-centered care during 12-hour rotating shifts—either 7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am—covering a 20-week contract with options for 13-week extensions. Your role involves managing moderate to complex patient conditions, utilizing your recent Step-down or PCU experience, and working at least every other holiday. This position requires holding an Ohio or Compact state license, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Expect to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation, with scores that meet hospital standards. This contract is designed for seasoned professionals looking to deepen their expertise in a renowned healthcare setting.
