Job Description:

This labor & delivery RN contract in Bangor, Maine, offers a chance to work in a high-volume obstetric setting with an average of 1800 deliveries annually. The role involves managing patients with conditions such as PIH, GDM, Pre-Eclampsia, and postpartum hemorrhage, along with assisting in fetal monitoring, cervical exams, and neonatal assessments. You'll be responsible for supporting mother-baby pairings, supervising newborn care, and assisting with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and related procedures. The assignment features 12-hour night shifts, a busy but rewarding environment, and the opportunity to hone advanced obstetric skills while supporting a large referral area. This unique setting emphasizes teamwork, technical proficiency, and a strong focus on safety and patient comfort.
