Job Description:

Join a busy Cardio Thoracic ICU team in Peoria, IL, where you'll be part of a unit managing a variety of complex cardiac and thoracic conditions. This 13-week contract offers a comprehensive experience, with rotating shifts of 12 hours overnight, including weekends and holidays. Your role will involve interpreting EKGs, titrating medications like Cardizem and heparin, and troubleshooting ventilator equipment such as CPAP and BiPAP. You'll work alongside a supportive team, including charge nurses, house supervisors, and patient care technologists, in a unit prepared for float coverage across general medical beds. This assignment offers the chance to refine your critical care skills in a fast-paced environment while experiencing the vibrant local culture.
