Job Description:

This ICU RN position places you directly in a 24-bed unit specializing in pulmonary and critical care. Your responsibilities will include managing ventilated patients with complex respiratory needs, including intubation and advanced airway techniques, as well as handling multiple IV drips such as vasopressors and sedatives. You'll use your expertise in invasive hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial and central lines, and respond to emergent events with ACLS protocols. Expect to collaborate with a team that includes charge and float nurses, providing critical care to patients facing conditions like septic shock, ARDS, or multisystem organ failure. This role challenges your clinical skills and offers an immersive experience in high-acuity patient management, with a focus on ventilator management, TTM, pronation therapy, and organ donation processes.
