Job Description:

Join a busy hospital offering a versatile MedSurg/Telemetry float pool contract at Boston's Brighton campus. This role involves working 12-hour shifts, primarily in the AM, with a mix of DNs (Day/Nights) and every other weekend. You'll be providing skilled nursing coverage across various units including orthopedics, urology, neurology, GYN, cardiology, surgery, and cardio-thoracic. The assignment presents an opportunity to work independently, rapidly adapt to new units, and demonstrate your telemetry reading skills—one of the key benchmarks for this position. A successful prior travel contract and experience in Meditech IVs, telemetry, and stepdown units will set you up for success. The hospital values quick learners with strong certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. This role is suitable for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy diverse patient populations. Expect to work most Fridays and manage a patient ratio of approximately 5:1, with no more than five days of RTO requests allowed during the contract.
