Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract places you on the East 7 PCU unit in Rochester, NY, working 12-hour day shifts from 3AM to 3PM or 7AM to 7PM on a rotation basis. You’ll be responsible for managing patients in a high-acuity setting, including administering cardiac drips, ventilator management, and acute BiPAP therapy. The role requires flexibility, as floating to other units may be necessary, and there’s no block scheduling. Expect to contribute approximately 36 hours weekly over a 13-week period, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure seamless patient care delivery. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a reputable facility with varied shifts and diverse responsibilities that keep the job engaging. Successful candidates should have recent acute PCU and med-surg/tele experience, with a U.S. work history of at least two years, and hold an active NY RN license along with NIH AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
