Job Description:

This PICU Registered Nurse role at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus offers a hands-on opportunity to work with critically ill pediatric and young adult patients, including those with epilepsy monitoring and specialized care needs up to age 25. The night shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a commitment of 36 hours per week across 13 weeks. The assignment is uniquely focused on advanced pediatric intensive care in a renowned hospital setting, requiring experienced travel nurses with a minimum of 18 months of pediatric or ICU experience. A valid Ohio or compact state license, along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, are essential. The nurse will participate in every other holiday, handle complex rhythm recognition, and work with specialized equipment such as EKGs and inotropes. Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments, ensuring preparedness for this challenging role.
