Job Description:

This behavioral health RN role offers a rewarding opportunity working in a psychiatric setting that requires a minimum of two years of current mental health experience. As part of this assignment, you will utilize Meditech EMR and coordinate care within a diverse patient population. The schedule involves 12-hour rotating shifts, specifically three days a week from 07:00 to 19:30, with every other weekend on call. Float coverage across various units is expected, requiring flexibility within your scope of practice. This position emphasizes independent assessment and support, providing a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference. Participants must hold a KY or compact license, have a valid driver’s license, and reside at least 75 miles from the facility. AHS BLS & CPI certifications are required, and orientation occurs bi-weekly. Successful candidates are expected to confirm their acceptance within 24 hours of offer, and submissions should only be made for this position, not multiple roles simultaneously. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, offering a professional challenge in a dedicated mental health setting.
