Job Description:

Join a vibrant Level III trauma center in Yakima, WA, as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This 17-week night shift assignment offers the chance to work in one of the busiest EDs in the state, managing a wide spectrum of cases from neonates to geriatrics. You'll be responsible for triage, administering medications via barcode scanning, managing blood products, setting up chest tubes and art lines, and supporting trauma and code situations. The role includes floating within the ED, handling patient ratios of 1:3-5 based on acuity, and utilizing Epic EMR. This fast-paced environment requires at least 3 years of experience in a high-volume, high-acuity ED, with certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC. The schedule includes 36 hours per week during night shifts, with rotational weekends, providing a dynamic yet predictable workflow.
