Job Description:

Join a prominent hospital in Spokane, WA, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. This 21-week contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy Level 3 Trauma Center with a focus on both high-risk and low-risk antepartum, intra-partum pregnant women, as well as newborn stabilization and couplet care. The shift is a 12-hour overnight schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, giving you a chance to experience a different rhythm of healthcare delivery. You will perform essential functions including IUPC placement, FSE, IV starts, circulating C-sections, and assisting with vaginal deliveries under the supervision of experienced charge nurses and resource RNs. Expect facilities equipped with advanced fetal monitoring systems, EPIC EMR, Baxter IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensers. This role is perfect for nurses with at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience who are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, especially during weekend rotations, and who can handle high acuity cases according to AWHONN guidelines.
