Job Description:

Join Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, as an ICU Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract. This role offers a unique chance to work in a fast-paced neuro ICU that handles neurological diseases, strokes, and seizures, often treating overflow from other ICU units. Your primary responsibilities include managing neuro patient care, interpreting NIHSS strips, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The shift is scheduled for 12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with an expected commitment of 48 hours per week. Floating across multiple campuses within the Premier Health system is part of the experience, offering diversity in patient populations and clinical settings. Candidates must have at least 2 years of neuro ICU or comprehensive stroke center experience, along with current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification.
