Job Description:

This contract opportunity involves working on a 4B Moderate Care Unit in Atlanta, Georgia, where you'll be part of a fast-paced cardiac and vascular care team. The role focuses on providing specialized patient care for low acuity critical patients, including those awaiting transfer to intensive care units or recovering from procedures. You'll manage a variety of cardiovascular patients with conditions such as arterial lines, PA catheters, and LVADs, but won't be responsible for ventilator management or high-level interventions like Impellas. Expect to develop both critical thinking and assessment skills while working alongside dedicated healthcare professionals in a supportive environment. The shift involves 12-hour days, and the assignment lasts for 13 weeks, offering an engaging and educational experience in cardiovascular care.
