Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse position invites you to step into a high-acuity cardiac intensive care setting, where your expertise in managing complex cardiac cases will be essential. You'll be the lynchpin for patients experiencing acute heart failure, arrhythmias, cardiogenic shock, or post-cardiac procedures. The role involves ventilator management, arterial lines, pulmonary artery catheters, pacemakers, LVADs, Impellas, and balloon pumps. Expect to handle vasoactive drips, central lines, dialysis, Foley catheters, and intra-aortic balloon pumps, all while navigating scenarios like post-cardiac arrest or pre-heart transplant care. This assignment is not just about routine tasks; it's where your skills in managing advanced cardiac support devices and critical conditions will shine, offering a rewarding challenge in a top-tier Magnet & Teaching Hospital.
