Job Description:

Join our Neuro ICU team in Charlotte for an engaging 16-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse. This role offers the chance to work in a specialized environment focusing on the care of stroke, neurosurgical, and neurological patients, including those with conditions like hemorrhagic strokes, brain surgeries, and aneurysm repairs. You'll be on night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, managing patients with complex neurological needs, ventilated patients, ICP monitoring, external ventricular drains, and more. The unit emphasizes neuro-critical care expertise, requiring at least two years of experience in similar settings, especially those familiar with managing dysrhythmias, blood products, and advanced neuro monitoring equipment. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity setting that values seasoned neuro nurses who are comfortable with patient ratios that can flex up to 3:1 during high census periods.
