Job Description:

Join a specialized team as a PACU Registered Nurse at a prestigious Level I Trauma Center located in the vibrant city of St. Louis. This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity to work primarily in endoscopy and interventional radiology patient recovery, focusing on adult and occasional adolescent and geriatric populations. Expect to handle a variety of acute post-op cases, including patients requiring invasive monitoring, artificial airways, transfusions, and vasoactive medications. This role is perfect for critical care nurses ready to apply their expertise in a fast-paced, high-standard environment—without the weekend or holiday call commitments. The shift involves 10-hour days from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, with guaranteed hours and a focus on procedural recovery across a broad surgical spectrum, excluding open-heart surgeries and liver transplants. Experience in critical care, EPIC charting, and managing complex post-op situations are essential for success in this role.
