Job Description:

Join our team as a dedicated medical-surgical RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Lafayette, Indiana. You'll be providing care to a diverse patient population with conditions like COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, COVID-19, chest pain, and small bowel obstructions. The role involves managing a variety of medical patients, along with a small surgical case load including gastric procedures, colectomies, mastectomies, appendectomies, and cholecystectomies. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced setting, requiring telemetry skills and IV start expertise. The shift runs from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, with every other weekend required, and involves a 48-hour weekly commitment. You'll be working in a unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, committed to delivering quality care in a supportive environment.
