Job Description:

Join us for an exciting 13-week travel opportunity as a Registered Nurse in the SICU/ICU in Bossier City, Louisiana. You’ll be working in a 10-bed unit with a focus on complex patient care including respiratory failure, stroke, sepsis, and surgical patients. This role provides a chance to refine your skills in ventilator management, intubation, CVL placement, and stroke care, all while working 12-hour day shifts. Job Specifics:

Location: Bossier City, LA

Shift: 12-hour days

Duration: 13 weeks, working approximately 36 hours per week, including every other weekend rotation. The schedule may vary with 3 or 4 days per week, including holiday coverage. Travel nurses will complete mandatory orientation, including a 2-day hospital X-ray competency exam, prior to starting. The role involves floating to stepdown, stroke, and med-surg units, with a focus on stroke care, ventilator management, and assistive procedures.
