Job Description:

This travel nursing opportunity places you in the fast-paced environment of a 10-bed ICU, specializing in complex cases such as respiratory failure, stroke, sepsis, and postoperative neurosurgical patients. You’ll be the key to managing ventilator support, assist with intubation and extubation, and handle critical procedures like CVL placement and tube feedings. Your expertise in stroke care and ventilator management will shine here, with the added challenge of passing an EKG competency exam before arrival. Expect a mix of dedicated ICU hands-on and unit support, collaborating closely with charge nurses, RTs, and hospitalists in a unit known for its traveler-friendly culture. This contract is perfect for a nurse with at least two years of acute care experience, ready to thrive in a lively, high-demand setting, working 12-hour days over 13 weeks. Shifts are scheduled every other weekend, with some flexibility in rotation and time off requests.
