Job Description:

Join Maine Medical Center’s float pool as an ICU RN and experience the thrill of a versatile, fast-paced environment. This 13-week contract involves working 12-hour night shifts, floating across multiple ICU units including SICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, and CICU. You'll be responsible for caring for sedated, intubated, and pressor-supported patients, with an emphasis on collaborative team communication and delivering outstanding patient care. This role offers a unique opportunity to adapt and grow across different specialties within acute care, all while maintaining a focus on flexibility and professionalism.

Job Specifics:

Location: Portland, ME
Shift: 12-hour nights (7 pm to 7:30 am or 7 am to 7:30 pm)
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours, with guaranteed 48 hours per week and 75% weekend shifts required
