Job Description:

Join a vibrant acute care hospital by the beach as an Ultrasound Tech specializing in General Radiology and Cardiology. This 13-week contract offers a rewarding opportunity to perform diagnostic ultrasound studies in a setting that combines clinical excellence with coastal charm. Your responsibilities will include conducting general diagnostic ultrasounds with occasional focused vascular assessments, such as lower extremity Dopplers to rule out DVT. You will also assist with procedures like thoracentesis, paracentesis, and biopsies, bringing your expertise in high-level disinfection protocols using Trophon equipment. You'll work weekday days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with alternating weekends and on-call standby shifts, adding a unique rhythm to your week. The role requires at least 2 years of experience, valid ARDMS certification, and BLS certification. This assignment is perfect for professionals who thrive in fast-paced diagnostic environments and enjoy making a difference in patient outcomes without direct patient care duties.
