Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU RN in Albuquerque, NM, for an exciting 18-week contract that offers a great blend of clinical challenge and memorable experiences. You'll be working 12-hour days in a fast-paced, level 1 trauma environment, providing post-anesthesia care and pre/post procedural support in a bustling PACU setting. The role involves floating within scope to the Holding area and managing a patient load comparable to an inpatient floor, with a patient ratio of 1:2, and occasional coverage in the inpatient PCU with ratios of 1:3-5. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, particularly with trauma and telemetry, along with current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Flexibility around holiday bundles and call shifts adds to the variety of this engaging role.
