Job Description:

Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse at a prominent healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio. This 16-week contract involves 12-hour rotating day and night shifts, focusing on acute leukemia and hematology care. You will work primarily with adult and geriatric patients, managing complex cases with a goal staffing ratio of 1:4 (possibly 1:5). The role emphasizes infection prevention protocols and patient falls prevention while utilizing advanced telemetry and IV therapy skills. This assignment offers a chance to hone your expertise in administering blood products, managing central and peripheral lines, and interpreting dysrhythmias within a fast-paced, specialized unit. Computerized charting will be performed using EPIC. Be prepared for rotational shifts that may include days, nights, or both, with schedule adjustments every four weeks based on unit needs. No chemo certification required for this role.
