Job Description:

This 13-week travel RN position in Seattle offers the opportunity to work a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) across multiple acute care and telemetry units within a Magnet, Level I Trauma hospital. The role involves floating between orthopedics, neuro-stroke, cardiac telemetry, and behavioral health units, requiring strong time management to balance two distinct areas each shift. Proficiency in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias is essential, with a pass/fail test at orientation to confirm skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, including recent telemetry and ortho work, and hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications. Flexibility around weekend requirements (every other weekend) and the necessity to work two major holidays (with restrictions on Christmas) are significant. This assignment provides a stimulating environment for seasoned nurses seeking variety and challenge in their specialty areas, without the need for travel pairs or long-term commitments beyond 13 weeks.
