Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract in Philadelphia offers an exciting opportunity for Med Surg nurses to step into a versatile ICU/Med Surg float role. You’ll be responsible for providing care across a variety of surgical and GYN cases, often adapting to different patient needs based on census. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, with the flexibility to handle patient ratios that fluctuate from 1 to 6, depending on the assignment. The role involves treating post-op GYN patients, bariatric cases, and ENT surgeries, with occasional shifts in ICU. Prior experience of 2 years in Med Surg is preferred, and BLS certification is required. Each week, you'll commit approximately 36 hours to this engaging and evolving environment, where no two days are exactly alike.
