Job Description:

Join a specialized team in a Level 2b NICU, providing dedicated care for premature infants and newborns requiring respiratory support, IV therapy, and other neonatal interventions. This role involves 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required. You'll work in a busy nursery with an average census of seven babies, including preemies as young as 32 weeks. The unit utilizes advanced equipment such as Baxter pumps, Nihon Kohlden monitors, and bubble CPAP, offering ample opportunities to refine neonatal skills. Expect to perform tasks like oxygen therapy, lab draws, and managing drips, all within a supportive team environment. Prior experience of 2-3 years, familiarity with Epic EMR, BLS-AHA, and NRP certifications are essential. Orientation lasts three days, and staff may float to neighboring units as needed. Please note: candidates must be separated from BILH for at least six months and not local to the area.
