Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is based at the esteemed Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA. The role involves working eight-hour shifts on the first floor OR with a focus on perioperative nursing in a fast-paced, surgery-focused environment. You will be supporting a team of 38 RNs, including those specializing in cardiac, orthopedics, and general surgeries, with a specialized emphasis on cardiac procedures such as CABG and valve surgeries. Experience in heart-related surgery is essential, and CNOR certification is preferred. Your responsibilities will include assisting during neuro, spine, joint, and major general procedures, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and maintaining efficiency in a collaborative team setting. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to deepen cardiac surgery skills while working in a reputable hospital environment, with the possibility of floating to pre-op areas as needed.
