Job Description:

Step into a role at Portsmouth Regional Hospital’s cardiovascular unit, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts on a 13-week contract. This assignment is perfect for experienced telemetry nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the challenge of titrating vasoactive medications like levophed, phenylephrine, dopamine, and dobutamine. You will be responsible for monitoring patients with central lines, arterial lines, and temporary pacing, all while utilizing advanced equipment such as GE monitors, Hamilton Bipap, Hiflo, and Baxter IV pumps. Your expertise will contribute to a dedicated team providing exceptional care in a facility recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 2 Trauma Center. The work involves bedside reports, updating MyCare boards, and supporting a 15-bed unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Additionally, floating policies mean you'll occasionally support other areas on a rotation basis.
