Job Description:

This 13-week assignment as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse offers an engaging role in the heart of Overland Park, Kansas. You'll be working a 12-hour day shift from 06:45 to 19:15, floating across multiple Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU departments and occasionally to other metro campuses. Expect to handle a variety of acute cases, including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, postoperative care, and treatment for conditions like stroke, COVID, and renal failure. The position involves collaborating with a team of professionals, interpreting EKGs, managing IV therapies, and supporting complex patient needs without a fixed unit, making each day uniquely rewarding.
