Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA. You will be working 12-hour night shifts, providing vital support during deliveries, C-sections, and other obstetric procedures. The role requires a seasoned professional with over four years of experience, including familiarity with Meditech/CPN EMR systems. As part of the team, you’ll collaborate with a staff of approximately 120 team members, including RNs, CNAs, and charge nurses, ensuring smooth patient flow and quality care. The unit operates under California’s patient ratios and policies, emphasizing teamwork and adherence to clinical protocols. This assignment offers the opportunity to work in a bustling maternity ward, where attention to detail and clinical expertise are essential. Remember, a current CA license and BLS certification are required to unlock this fulfilling role.
