Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 12-hour night shift assignment in Wilmington, NC. This contract offers the chance to work with adult and geriatric patients, managing general Med/Surg cases that include insulin and heparin drips, wound care, high-flow oxygen, and occasional respiratory support such as BiPap. You’ll be an integral part of the Inclement Weather Team, prepared to respond during storms, hurricanes, and mass casualty events. With a 36- or 48-hour weekly schedule, you'll have an opportunity for a mid-length contract of up to 26 weeks, with a maximum of 7 days of RTO allowed and every other weekend duty. Perfect for experienced nurses comfortable with EPIC, medication administration, and maintaining patient safety during dynamic situations. Note: Call requirements and floating to similar units are part of the routine, and your role is critical in supporting the hospital’s response to severe weather and emergencies.
