Job Description:

Join a busy stepdown unit in Redding, California, where your skills in telemetry and critical care will be put to good use. This 13-week travel contract caters to RNs with 2-3 years of ICU or PCU experience. You'll work 12-hour days on a flexible schedule, providing close monitoring for ICU overflow patients, including those with TBI, trauma, sepsis, or post-surgical care. The unit features a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, with advanced skills like arterial and CVP line management, titrating drips, and managing ventilated or trach patients. Expect an engaging environment that values patient experience and teamwork, with a supportive, traveler-friendly staff. The role involves quick turnarounds, high acuity care, and a focus on core measures and patient satisfaction.
