Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you on a Medical/Telemetry unit in Bismarck, North Dakota, working 12-hour day shifts. You will be supporting adult and geriatric patients with a variety of cardiac and medical conditions, including post-cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, COVID Bipap, and other acute-on-chronic situations. The role involves reading and interpreting cardiac strips, titrating medications such as Amio, Heparin, and Nitro, and managing ventilator equipment like Bipap and Cpap. You’ll work alongside charge nurses and patient care techs, with a nurse-to-patient ratio averaging 1:4-5, occasionally 1:3 for overflow. The setting requires familiarity with Epic electronic health records and comfortable collaboration across units, as float responsibilities include medical, MS, and ER holds. This role offers an engaging blend of technical skills and patient monitoring, ideal for experienced cardiac telemetry nurses seeking a varied, fast-paced environment.
